I definately improved over this half year. I learnt how to use proper fingering. In the speed test the general trend was that i got faster but i still made mistakes. My highest WPM were the one minute times. the first few i did on the days were usually the slowest probably because i was "warming up".

    Moving images

There is a difference between these two image formats, a Bitmap is what you save an image as if you want to keep the layers so you can edit them seperately later, where as a jpg will merge all the layers of a picture into one.
Multi layer graphics takes a lot of space when they are saved as a bitmap. This is why before I put mine on wikispace I changed it to a jpg. A jpg 'flatterns' the document down by blending the layers into one which uses much less space and means we can put it on wiki. When you save the document it is a good idea to save a bitmap as well as a jpg because that means you will still be able to edit your work using all your layers.

A local fashion house has asked me to design a new collection. The collection should contain a number of different pieces that can be combined to produce many different outfits. A final 200 x 800px graphic needs to be presented to display four outfits that best represent my collection.
    How I Made Them:

    2. I inserted the doll template into my document.
    3. I made a "folder" called shoes.

    4. I created 3 pairs of shoes on three different layers within the shoes folder.
    5. I locked, named and made these layers invisible as I created them.
    6. I repeated These steps with the bottoms, tops and accessories.
    7. I then created 4 different outfits mixing and matching the items of clothing I had made and then saved them as 4 seperate documents.
    8. I made another document called final outfits and imported the four separate oufits I had saved.
    9. I then saved it as a JPEG
