Single layer
Single layer graphics is created using a process of copy and pasting and rotating. First you draw a square with lines and shapes inside then after that you fill it with colours. Then you copy, paste and rotate it, fitting them together, until you have a large pattern. These are some examples:
BREIF
A new wildlife centre is opening in the Kaimais. You have been asked to design patterns that could be used on textiles, (curtains, cushions) printed material (brochures, adverts, bookmarks, maps) and could be used to decorate the centre website. Your patterns need to come from wildllife pictures.
These are three tiles I have made to suit the breif. Thes are before they have been copied and rotated.
